WELCOME
"What am I scared of? I'm scared of the same thing that you are, everything"
- George Costanza
MY APPROACH & YOUR INVESTMENT
As a counselor, I long to sit ‘in the weeds’ of life with others. I believe that our experiences (good and bad, wanted or unwanted) shape and impact our day-to-day. My work with clients is structured and inspired based on the belief that we all need and deserve to be wholly cared for in a collaborative and supportive environment.

ABOUT ME
I graduated in 2023 from Covenant Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Counseling. My degree has equipped me with the ability to work with a multitude of populations in various life stages regarding a multitude of topics.
AREAS OF SPECIALTY:
ANXIETY & DEPRESSION
Working to understand both anxiety and/or depression can feel daunting, to say the least.
I believe that understanding where your anxiety and/or depression might be rooted is the first (and sometimes most challenging) step...
SELF-AWARENESS & PERSONHOOD EXPLORATION
Why do I do the things I do, the way I do them?
Or as Michael Scott once asked, "Why are you the way that you are?" ...
EMOTIONAL REGULATION & SELF-ESTEEM
How well we're able to regulate our thoughts/emotions can impact how we feel about ourselves. For example...big, seemingly unmanageable negative emotions towards others can mean big, seemingly unmanageable negative emotions towards ourselves.
Thankfully, the opposite is true, too...
EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING & ORGANIZATION
What is executive functioning and how would counseling help with it? What does organization have to do with counseling?

I'll answer the first two questions first, and then share with you a little bit more, too...
GETTING STARTED
The process of starting counseling can bring up a lot of (normal) feelings, especially if this is your first exposure to therapy. Thankfully, getting started is simple...and you're here, reading this - so you're already doing the work. Below you'll find out more about what's next, and what it will look like as we begin to work together.
2. PHONE CALL
Once I receive your email, I'll set up a phone call for us. This call is typically 10-15 minutes long.

I'll learn more about what you'd like to work on in therapy and make sure we're a good fit.
If not, I'll provide a referral.
3. SCHEDULING
If working together works for us both, we will schedule your first session during our phone call.
4. INTAKE PAPERWORK
Once your first session is 'on the books', I'll send you your intake paperwork to fill out.
This will include my client intake form which allows me to learn more about you, client informed consent information, a request for some demographic information, and a prompt to enter your preferred method of payment.

All of this must be completed before we can meet.
5. WE MEET!
We'll meet, talk, collaborate, and start your journey of constructing and supporting the life you long for, hope for, and deserve.
